Relief(Dekret) für Herodoros.Götter!Unter dem Archon Nikostratos; die De-metrias hatte die neunte Prytanie inne;im Elaphebolion am neunten, dem fünf-undzwanzigsten (Tag) der Prytanie; Haupt-Volks-versammlung; von den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung An-timachos S.d. A- -os aus dem Demos Acharnai und seineMitvorsitzenden. Beschluss des Volkes; Gorgos S.d. Phryni- -aus dem Demos - - - stellte den Antrag: Da Herodorossich bereits früher, als er sich bei KönigAntigonos aufhielt, wohlwollend war gegenüber dem Volkder Athener, und jetzt als Vertrauterdes Königs Demetrios nach Möglichkeit Gutestut sowohl insgesamt für die Stadt als auchspeziell für jeden Athener, der seinerbedarf; ihn auch die wegen desFriedensvertrages zu demKönig Demetrios geschickten Gesandtenbezeichnen als Mitstreiter des Volkesfür den Ausbau der Freundschaftzu König Demetrios und dafür, dass das Volkaufs schnellste vom Krieg ablässt und dieStadt in seinen Besitz bringt, um für immerDemokratie zu haben, zu Glück und Heil!,wolle beschließen das Volk: dass man belobige HerodorosS.d. Ph- - aus - -kos wegen seines Wohlwollensund seines Ehrgeizes, den er beständig fürdas Volk der Athener hegt, und ihnbekränze mit goldenem Kranz gemäß demGesetz, und den Kranz verkündige bei den Dionysienin der Stadt an den Tragödien-Aufführungen;dass er auch Athener sein soll undseine Nachkommen, und eingeschrieben werde inPhyle und Demos und Phratrie, die erwill; dass auch sein soll Speisung im Prytaneionihm und dem jeweils ältesten seiner Nachkommen,und ein Ehrensitz bei allen Festen,die die Stadt ausrichtet; dass das Volkaufstelle auch sein Standbild aus Bronze aufder Agora nahe bei Harmordios und Aristogeitonund den Rettern; dass das Volkauch drei Männer unter allen Athenernwähle, die Sorge tragen werdenfür die Anfertigung der Statue; dass ihnender Prüfungsbeamte und die Trittyarchenfür das Bild anweisen, was an Ausgabenanfällt; dass die Prytanen über ihnabstimmen lassen in der kommendenVolksversammlung; dass die Thesmotheten für ihndie Prüfung des Bürgerrechts undder (anderen) Privilegien einleiten bei dem Gerichtshofgemäß dem Gesetz, sobald sie zuerst einen Gerichtshofauffüllen; dass diesen Beschluss aufzeichneder Sekretär, der während der Prytanie amtiert,auf eine steinerne Stele und aufstelle auf derAkropolis; dass für die Aufzeichnung auf derStele der Finanzverwalter (das Geld) gebe.im Kranz:Das Volk.
